Chreso has learned first hand that there is a great need in qualified staff due to limited University
facilities in the country. In Zambia only 6 % of those leaving primary school have an opportunity
to continue with their education, and only 3 % have been able to go to a University.
Chreso perceived a need to provide faith based, value driven, quality education to impact
the Zambian society with well trained professionals to help the country to grow. Zambia is
fast developing and urgently needs qualified and well founded individuals for this development
to continue.
Chreso University was founded by Chreso Ministries in 2010 after it has been able to secure
a great facility in the south east of Lusaka. Chreso University and has been granted a
lisence by the Ministry of Education and has been acreddited by the International Accreditation
Organization (IAO) based in Texas, USA. It is also a member of the Logos Educators
Network in Florida, USA. The University initially concentrates in Health, Business and Theological
and Ministry studies.
